The standard GDI 2.4L 4-cylinder engine is a high-tech wonder. It features Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (D-CVVT) and Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) to deliver 190 hp and 181 lb.-ft. of torque. That’s more standard horsepower than Toyota Venza and Chevy Equinox.* And for more power, you can select the available 2.0T with 265 hp.
Every Santa Fe Sport engine is mated to Hyundai’s 6-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC®. It puts the control in your hands for responsive performance and offers features to help you get more miles out of every gallon of gas.
This 2.0L GDI 4-cylinder engine features a twin-scroll turbo that pumps out 265 hp and 269 lb.-ft. of torque. Engineered to run on regular unleaded gas, its highly advanced design helps improve combustion efficiency and provides low-engine-speed efficiency.
They say there’s calm at the eye of the storm. But out on the leading edge, things get interesting. That’s the idea behind the latest iteration of Hyundai’s Fluidic Sculpture design, dubbed “Storm Edge.” It gives the Santa Fe style that exhibits the power and strength of nature.
No need to kick or shuffle your feet to open the rear liftgate! You can automatically open it with this available feature by simply standing within three feet behind the vehicle for more than three seconds with the Proximity Key. The handy height-adjustable function allows users to stop the tailgate at various heights to avoid low overhangs. And with up to 80 cubic feet of cargo space you’ve got the room to bring along all of the essential gear you need for your next adventure.
The standard 18-inch alloy wheels will generate plenty of traction, and compliments. If you’re ready to step things up, the available 19-inch alloy wheels are just the ticket.
Santa Fe Sport offers available ventilated front seats and a driver seat with an Integrated Memory System (IMS) for the seat and side mirrors. The suite of available premium features also includes a panoramic sunroof, Proximity Key with electronic push button start, leather seating surfaces, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a heated steering wheel and dual-zone automatic temperature control with CleanAir Ionizer.
Your sense of comfort and control is enhanced by a long list of standard features that includes Bluetooth®, YES Essentials®* stain-resistant cloth seats, tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel, illuminated vanity mirrors with extensions and a multifunction trip computer.
Second-row passengers get the unmistakable feeling of luxury from the available heated rear seats, integrated sunshades and second-row seats that slide and recline. In addition, the rear seats have a 40/20/40 split-folding design for added flexibility and functionality when you need to carry both passengers and gear, like snowboards or skis.
Sight and sound enhancements include an available 8-inch touchscreen plus a navigation system and a premium 550-watt Infinity® Logic 7® audio system with 12 speakers. The available 4.3-inch touchscreen color audio display with rearview camera offers inputs that let you connect an iPod®, iPhone® or other music sources via USB or auxiliary input jacks.

Emergency braking maneuvers can cause wheels to lock up and skid, resulting in a loss of steering control exactly when you need it most. Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) helps prevent the possibility of wheel lockup under hard braking, and rapidly pulses the brakes to help you retain steering control as you come to a stop.
This available radar-based system helps detect when a vehicle is in the driver’s blind spot and provides both an audible and a visual alert to help keep you aware as you move down the road. When reverse gear is selected, Rear Cross-traffic Alert helps identify and warn the driver of vehicles approaching from the side.
The advantage of this available safety-technology feature is clear. Lane Change Assist measures the closing speed of an approaching vehicle in the adjacent lane to determine if changing lanes is safe and if it’s not, gives the driver an audible and visual warning.
Along with the rearview camera, Santa Fe Sport’s available Rear Parking Assistance System makes backing up easier. Sensors in the rear bumper give you an audible warning that increases in frequency and tone as you get closer to objects it detects in the area behind your vehicle.
